DYNAMIC 3D NAVIGATION FOR ULTRA-PRECISE IMPLANT SURGERY AT LUXDENTICA

What is the 3D dynamic navigation X-Guide?

X-Guide is real-time dental surgery. This groundbreaking technology enables surgical procedures to be carried out with the utmost precision. Implantation, sinus floor elevation, nerve lateralization, or corticotomy can be performed with minimal invasiveness and, above all, excellent accuracy. The surgeon doesn't need to expose (cut) the gums to access the bone because they have a highly accurate image of the drill's position relative to the bone tissue on the monitor screen.

Dynamic X-Guide navigation is like the GPS navigation used in mobile phones, guiding you to your destination in real-time, as compared to using traditional topographical paper maps in the past.

Benefits for the Patient Compared to Surgical Templates

  1. Scanning, planning, and surgery can all be done on the same day.
  2. Plans can be adjusted during surgery as dictated by the clinical situation.
  3. Accuracy can be continuously verified.

Other Clinical Indications for Dynamic System Application

  1. Limited mouth opening.
  2. Tight interdental spaces that prevent the use of a guiding tube in CAD/CAM guides.
  3. Distal implants (e.g. second molars) that are excluded from static CAD/CAM guides due to increased height and the impossibility of taking impressions due to excessive gag reflex.

How Does It Work?

The surgeon first plans the ideal implant location based on the patient's bone computer tomography using specialized software. We always perform the tomography prior to the planned implantation to select the appropriate type and size of the implant and precisely plan its placement. Remember that at Luxdentica, your safety and excellent end result are the guiding principles of treatment, which is why each procedure is meticulously planned.

The X-Guide device provides the doctor with a three-dimensional image of the patient's bone, allowing them to precisely position the implant in the bone or perform other surgical procedures. The doctor can see the "live" movement of the drill, its depth, and its deviation from the vertical axis on the monitor screen. At any moment, they can modify all parameters, responding in real time to unforeseen aspects of the procedure. This groundbreaking device is technologically similar to neurosurgical procedures, which, as we know, must be performed with the utmost precision.
